Hometown Adventures

So I’m at a point in my life where I’m ready to start a new beginning. While I can’t fully start over in a different city or with different people (not saying I don’t love my friends and family I surround myself with), but sometimes you just want adventure #eatpraylovemoment

That being said, I do feel lucky in the fact that I live in a beautiful city that offers plenty of adventure and fun. With my busy work and school schedule, I decided to make Sundays my adventure days in which I do something for myself at least once during the week. It is Sunday Funday after all!

Today’s adventure: Visiting a local Science museum and exploring the art world.

Balboa Park is one of my favorite places, for it has the most beautiful architecture, serene nature and a place where you can explore your artistic side.

Musicians, artists, photographers, dancers, etc. surround the place and you can’t help but feel that you are walking into an application for Juliard.

Just because I didn’t travel on a huge road trip to have an adventure, doesn’t mean you can’t simply explore your backyard and see just how beautiful the world and home really is.

I always said that when I grow up I wanted to just have an adventure, but maybe the real thing I want to just be is happy. Today was one of those days where I couldn’t be happier in my home and seeing the beauty in what life has to offer.
