“Can I get a veggie sandwich, without the bread?”
For today’s “Meatless Monday,” I thought I would share a different take on a veggie meal filled with protein and healthy goodness that could make you forget about eating slices of bread for the day (Don’t worry, it will see you soon enough).
While browsing my local Healthy market, I found a Raw Hummus wrap.
Now, I’m a big fan of Hummus, but at first glance, this looked plain and bland. I decided to buy it anyway, because the worst that could happen was me not liking it and resorting to making my own wrap with the hummus I already have in the fridge.
Just as the title suggests, it’s a lettuce wrap filled with hummus and veggies. Featuring bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots and a heavy dose of classic hummus, this small wrap was quite satisfying.
Pairing it with Sweet Potato crackers, this meal was the perfect portion savvy meal to take during that busy work or school schedule.
I loved it so much that I found myself ordering one from my local Which Which Sandwich shop
